Organize Your Practice
The organization of your practice is critical to sustaining superior office operations and can greatly affect the quality of care you deliver. This module will provide the tools necessary to help practices identify and implement organizational processes to ensure your office is performing efficiently. This module assesses the fundamental elements of your practice: structure, organization, and workflow.
Why is this important?
How well your practice is organized may significantly determine how well your office functions on a daily basis and can ultimately impact the quality of care delivered to your patients. For example, documentation of patient care needs to be entered into the EHR and maintained in a way that facilitates seamless communication between clinicians, their patients, clinic staff members, and appropriate external entities.
How will these tools help?
Policies, procedures, and adequate training for your staff can make the difference between an office that functions efficiently and one that does not.
The tools and resources in this module include many chart and office forms that can be quickly implemented into your practice’s daily workflow with or without modifications. Also included are policies and procedures and articles that focus on good documentation habits, streamlined workflows, and tips for a well-organized EHR.
